Nathan Sandercock is an accomplished Creative Producer, Director, and Performer with over 22 years of experience in the live entertainment and performing arts industries. Based in Picayune, Mississippi and originally from Sydney, Australia, Nathan’s career spans stage, screen, and entertainment tours, with performance and leadership credits across major brands such as Sesame Street, Disney’s Cars, Royal Caribbean’s Madagascar Children’s Tour, The Voice Australia, Cartoon Network, and Ben 10. He has portrayed iconic characters like Alex the Lion, and Cookie Monster, and has performed in numerous musicals, including Crazy for You, Cats, Shout, Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat, and A Chorus Line.
Nathan also gained valuable industry insight working under RUDE Agency. There, he was a talent on their books, but he also supported the agency’s owner and creative director by overseeing administrative systems, managing communication gaps, building team morale, and helping recover and stabilize projects when breakdowns in planning or communication occurred. His behind-the-scenes experience has given him a well-rounded understanding of how to lead talent, manage operations, and anticipate production needs from both the agency and performer perspectives.
As a creative leader, Nathan has directed and produced over 45 live performances in the past 10 years, while also contributing as a vocal director, stage manager, and production consultant. With a deep commitment to arts education, Nathan founded Picayune Music in 2022, an independent music and performance studio offering vocal, instrumental, and theatrical training for students of all ages. It has become a cornerstone for arts development in Mississippi, with over 150 students, providing regular lessons, showcases, and a safe space for creative growth. His impact on the community grew further through Picayune Theatre Company, where he helped raise the standard of musical theatre in the region with credits to his name Little Women, Willy Wonka Jr, Annie, Sister Act, Matilda Jr and Shrek in October 2025. His productions are known for their quality and have drawn talent from over two hours away, solidifying his reputation as a trusted director and creative force.
Now, as the Founder and Talent Director of Encore Talent Agency, Nathan brings together his performance experience, industry knowledge, and leadership expertise to represent a new generation of artists. Encore Talent Agency exists to launch and professionally market performers from underrepresented areas across the Southeast, connecting them with casting opportunities in film, television, commercials, theatre, voiceover, and modeling.
